Being rebellious...

Yes, I'm being rebellious lately. I'm not happy at work. I'm trying to get out, I'm putting hopes to the angels that I don't know and angry with the current devil. I really hope I can sort out my anger but it seems to be tough...

As I found my joy in photography and I can say it really do help making me free of anger. I wish I can continue my path as a photographer, taking beautiful pictures and start taking control of my life.

Microstock Photography

Hey hey, I'm sorry I'm so late on this topic. But a promise is a promise so here it goes.

1st the disclaimer, I'm not a pro thus I don't think I should be writting any advice on this. BUT, I would love to share my research with you. So it's up to you to try your luck. :D

So here goes...

What is microstock photography?
From Wikipedia: Microstock photography, also known as micropayment photography, is an offshoot of traditional stock photography. What defines a company as a microstock photography company is that they
  1. Source their images almost exclusively via the Internet,
  2. Do so from a wider range of photographers than the traditional stock agencies (including a willingness to accept images from "amateurs" and hobbyists), and
  3. Sell their images at a very low rate (anywhere from $.20 - $10) for a royalty-free image.
A number of microstock sites also sell vector art, and some sell Flash animations and video, as well as images.
You may find some microstock website that you can join for free and start uploading your photos to earn money thru this site: http://www.microstockphotography.com/

And if you already have that collection and really fell in love with microstock photography, why not create a website to talk about microstock photography and add your site to http://www.microstockphotography.com/ ?

Gud luck and I'm trying my luck soon as well. :D

What will our life turn out to be?

It has been bugging me lately, about what I really want. Is it the corporate world, working from 8 - 5:30 (in actual, I can leave office at anytime and even work from home -- it's a flexible company) and get my salary every end of the month? Or a life within my total control and enjoy the freedom to do what ever I want?

It might sound nice to work for myself, doing the things that I love but I'm sure that there are many obstacles out there. I guess it's the comfort zone that I'm in now that makes me worry to leave the corporate world.

People says you must have some skills, and that skill must be revolving and evolving so that it follow the trend and never dies off easily. So, I start analyzing on what I love to do a.k.a my passion...
1) dancing
2) posing for photoshoot
3) photographing (I'm very much into this now)
4) Photoshopping (Been learning lately)
5) Album creating - digital album and print outs (Doing this right now as well)

So it's pretty obvious on what I love to do but how good am I? I should say I'm still a novice in this area. Will I improve? I guess it's the passion that will keep me moving.

Will photography and post-processing skills bring me to somewhere I wanted to go? Will photography and post-processing skills dies off tomorrow? Let the time to be the judge. Mark this date and see how soon I can achieve my dream and start writting my success stories... hahaha.

Continuing Previous Post

My goodness, the installation was only completed after 3.45hrs! It seems like, ensuring a good installation guide is very important! Did any project have such good installation guide? So far, I experience only on my previous development projects. It seems like the ppl in the US region don't like to make a good installation guide... hmm is it that difficult?
